Stylishly restored patrician house with a wonderful roof terrace

Set in the peaceful hamlet of Costiolo, this stately home was built around 1800 by a wealthy Italian family and is currently owned by a couple of architects who renovated it tastefully, keeping high standards.

The property is detached on two sides and offers plenty of space on four floors with a large sunny, panoramic terrace and private parking places.

Wonderful, mostly high vaulted ceilings on all floors, niches, wall cupboards, antique floors, mosaics, old well-preserved, wall paintings and many other details testify to the charm of past times stately residential comfort.

Ideal for a large family and suitable to receive a lot of visitors, or just to enjoy spacious and relaxed living.

The ground floor of the building houses a very comfortable and functional basement of approx. 80 sqm with a laundry room, bathroom, bedroom, kitchen area and an office. An additional basement room can also be reached from the outside via a private entrance.

The different floors are connected by marble stairs. On the first floor, there are a live-in-kitchen, two spacious bedrooms with wall decorations and a bathroom with shower, accessible from two sides.

The second floor offers two rooms: the living room and a large bedroom with en-suite-bathroom, equipped with bathtub and shower.

The marvelous and sunny roof terrace of approx. 25 sqm is on the third floor, enjoying splendid views of the opposite hamlets and the evergreen olive groves.

The property includes a plot of approx. 80 sqm on the other side of the road with parking lots for two cars, where the gas tank is also located.

Surrounded by olive groves, the hamlet of Costiolo belongs to the municipality of Prelà, located about 10 km from Imperia and the sea with its Mediterranean beaches.

Prelà, which can also be reached on foot in about 10 minutes, offers a small grocery store, a post office and pharmacy, as well as several restaurants for dining and wining.

Only about 3.5 km away lies Dolcedo, the picturesque main village of the Prino valley with its narrow alleys, Maltese bridges, various shops, cafes and restaurants.

The French Riviera with Nice and Montecarlo can be reached by car in about 1 hour, the airports of Genoa and Nice are about 100 km away.
